Start With the Teacher, Not the Aesthetic

Ask yourself:

  • Do I trust this person?

  • Do they live what they teach?

  • Are they embodied, not performative?

Your nervous system will learn from theirs.

Questions to Ask Before You Enroll

  • Is this training trauma-informed?

  • How much practice teaching is included?

  • What support exists after graduation?

  • Is philosophy integrated or glossed over?

  • No mention of consent or safety

  • Focus only on flexibility or aesthetics

  • Little transparency about curriculum

Green Flags 🌿

  • Emphasis on integration

  • Clear lineage and ethics

  • Small group sizes

  • Real mentorship, not hierarchy
