A Yoga Training Refined Over 5 Years
Built to help anyone develop the skills necessary to master their body, breath, and mind.
This is not a crash-course or a trendy certification.
This training has been designed, tested, taught, and refined over the last five years through multiple cohorts, hundreds of students, and thousands of hours of real practice—on the mat and in life.
It’s for people who want to understand yoga, not just do it.
Who This Training Is For
This training is for anyone who wants to build a strong, intelligent relationship with their body and nervous system.
Yes—future teachers will leave prepared to lead.
But this training was never only about teaching classes.
It’s for:
People who want a consistent, safe self-practice
Students who feel overwhelmed or confused by modern yoga
Facilitators, leaders, and creatives who want to self-regulate under pressure
Long-time practitioners who want to return to the roots
Humans who want tools to meet discomfort with clarity instead of avoidance
What Makes This Training Different
Most trainings give you information.
This training gives you skills.
Over five years, this program has been refined to teach you how to work with yourself—not how to perform shapes or memorize sequences.
You’ll learn how to:
Build a sustainable practice instead of burning out
Use breath to regulate your nervous system
Understand alignment so your body feels supported, not strained
Sit with discomfort instead of bypassing it
Recognize patterns of self-sabotage and work with them somatically
This is yoga as a lived discipline, not a performance.

The Venue
Barbarenas is a hidden sanctuary tucked just off the back road leading to La Punta Beach. A short five-minute walk brings you to the ocean — perfect for an evening dip after a full day of practice.
What makes this centre truly unique is its eco-conscious design. The structures are built from compacted earth, and the pool uses an aquaponic filtration system, meaning you quite literally get to swim alongside the fish.
The property invites exploration, with meditation gardens, temazcals, and on-site massage services. Additional offerings led by local facilitators — such as cold plunges and kirtan — create opportunities for deeper connection and integration.
This space offers the privacy needed for reflection, while still holding a like-minded community to support you throughout your training.
From the food, to the location, to the yoga shala, every detail at Barbarenas has been thoughtfully designed with intention — creating an atmosphere that supports both retreat and restoration.
Despite its serene setting, Barbarenas is still just a five-minute walk from local markets and cafés, where you can explore artisan goods or enjoy a fresh coconut in the sun.
Elegant design of earth made structures to keep the space naturally cool and make you feel grounded and at home. Each room has its own bathroom and includes all toiletries, towels and bedding. Come as you are and receive the natural luxuries of Barbarens
Need a little more privacy? Then indulge in the private casita with a terrace once view palapa. This room includes it’s own private bathroom, toiletries, towels and bedding.
Enjoy sleeping in the open air? Wake up to the sun rays rising over the ocean and a cool breeze blowing through the canopy.
